Specialists Environment

Small group pull-out experiences with studio specialists are daily offerings at Community Seedlings. Studio spaces are provided where children are invited to explore materials more specific to these areas than their homerooms.

Atelierista

The art specialist who provides a studio space where children express their ideas and creativity through multiple media such as painting, clay work, drawing, sewing, watercolor, and much more.

STEM Coordinator

The specialist whose studio space enables children to explore how things work, test their theories, and collaborate with peers. This work is then brought back to the larger homeroom group and incorporated into the work of the whole class.

Naturalist

The specialist who utilizes our outdoor classroom where the Atelier of Nature is found.  Children are invited to this space to help nurture the ideas supporting the importance of the natural world. Here children can garden, observe plants and animals, and have hands-on experiences with natural loose parts in our Mud Kitchen.
