At Community Roots Academy, we believe in the power of project-based learning to inspire and engage students in their education. Our approach emphasizes hands-on, real-world problem-solving that helps students develop critical thinking, creativity, communication, and teamwork skills. Projects are often interdisciplinary and can cover subjects such as science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEM/STEAM). The ultimate goal of project-based learning is to prepare students for success in college, career, and life.
Our scholars are passionate, driven and enthusiastic about the learning process. Our staff is also passionate about project-based learning and are dedicated to supporting our families in every aspect of the learning process.
WHAT DOES THE ROOTS RUN SUPPORT?
The funds raised for The Roots Run will go to support all aspects that enhance our scholars’ well-being on campus: outdoor play equipment as well as Roots Athletics.
The Roots Run is an on-campus event that every scholar participates in. Parents and family are welcome to attend and cheer your scholar(s) on! —–EVENT DATE FOR 2024 is 3/13/2024—-
