Mrs. Smallwood

Middle School Director

Mrs. Michele Smallwood joins CRA after 17 years in the educational field. Mrs. Smallwood earned a B.A. from UC Santa Barbara, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Occidental College, and her administrative credential from U.C. Irvine. She has taught at numerous schools including public, private, and independent schools, all levels of 6-12th grade English Language Arts and Social Studies. Mrs. Smallwood has also served as Dean of Students, department chair, and curriculum head.Her favorite jobs have included extracurricular experiences for students, including cheerleading, yearbook, student government, journalism, and Model United Nations. Recently, Mrs. Smallwood was named OC Parenting Magazines top educator. When she’s not in school, she can be found spending time with her two teenage daughters, her husband, and her three dogs.
