Noted Certified Parent Educator Coming to CRA Next Tuesday Evening

Plan to join us next Tuesday evening, April 16, at 6:30 on the lawn at CRA for an informative presentation entitled “Improving Your Wellness By investing In Yourself” from certified parent educator Megan Oesterreich, LCSW.

When Megan became a parent she realized the importance of, and need for, more parenting support and a better way to connect with and help our children grow optimally, both physically and emotionally. Now Megan assists parents in learning and implementing the Nonviolent Parenting curriculum and supporting them as they improve their practice.

Four years ago, CRA founded this informal parent education program with guest speakers and a book discussion based on the speakers’ topics in the belief that CRA parents appreciate the wisdom and experience of experts who have addressed the challenges of raising children. The program is sponsored by the Community Roots Foundation. There is no cost to CRA and Seedlings Preschool parents to attend. Picnic-style food will be served and childcare will be available.
