Our CCC youth workers love working with kids and our kids love our youth workers. Our leaders have varying backgrounds and experiences working in youth programs. Most staffers have degrees or are in pursuit of degrees in education and child development. All of our staff have passed a thorough background check, have current CPR and First Aid certification and meet the qualifications required by California Licensing requirements.
Ms. Anndrea Daniello is the CCC program director. She has been teaching for over 10 years in youth recreation programs and afterschool settings. Ms. Daniello earned her AA Degree from Long Beach City College with an emphasis in Childhood Development and her BA Degree in Anthropology from UCLA in 2013.
She has directed multiple after-school programs and recreation camps throughout Southern California. She joined CCC in 2015 and has enjoyed being involved in such an innovative learning community that offers outdoor education, creative reuse and unique play experiences for youth.
She is passionate about children and extended school programs. She is committed to providing a safe and engaging setting where youth are encouraged to explore their interests, learn in creative ways, and have fun.
Coach Ken started refereeing and coaching youth sports in high school, and that is where he developed an interest in working with youth. He went on to study kinesiology at San Jose State University with an emphasis in teaching physical education. For the past three years he has worked in an elementary school physical education program. He enjoys staying physically fit and playing all types of games and sports.
Aisha graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Educational Sciences. She has enjoyed working with children of all ages for over 10 years and plans to continue doing so. She speaks, reads and writes Japanese, and her hobbies include reading and learning new languages.
Coach Parker is a lifelong resident of south Orange County. He has a plethora of experience working with children. He has worked for SVUSD as a site leader for an after school program as well as a care counselor at an adolescent treatment center in Orange. He joined the CCC staff in Spring 2017 and couldn’t be happier. Currently a student at Saddleback College, Coach Parker is working towards his teaching credential. He is an avid golfer and a Disneyland Annual Pass holder. Parker loves to go camping and is a dedicated fan of local sports teams the Angels and the Ducks.
Marilina volunteered at the onsite child development center during her studies at Irvine Valley College. The experience she obtained interacting with children inspired her to further her knowledge of child development. The reason for her dedication to work with children arises from the way each child has a different way of thinking and loves to interact with all their different personalities. Her hobbies include photography, going to the beach, taking hikes and trying different foods.
Mary has been a member of the CCC staff since March 2015. She has been an educator for over 15 years, teaching preschool and working with elementary school children in summer programs. When not at school, Mary enjoys hiking, swimming, yoga, and reading.
Ms. Jenoa loves working with kids because of the exciting work environment, the fast paced day, and the joy the children bring. Her hobbies include knitting, sewing, and lots of craftiness. She also enjoys biking and spending time at the beautiful OC beaches. She lives in Irvine with her husband, Robbie.
Sandra has always loved working with children. Prior to joining Community Roots Academy, she worked for the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach, where she ensured the safety of children, ran a kids cooking program and strived to serve as a positive role model for colleagues and members alike. She has lived in Orange County her entire life. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.She is excited to be a part of the CCC team and work with the children of Community Roots Academy.
