Elementary Director

Ingrid Beaty serves as the Elementary Director at Community Roots Academy. Ingrid is a highly qualified, experienced educator with over sixteen years experience in elementary education.

She has been an integral part of CRA from the beginning. She taught in a variety of grades prior to serving as the Elementary Director. After a year in her new position Ingrid stated, “I love working with all the students and seeing the progression from kindergarten through middle school. This opportunity allows me to infuse my love for kids, teaching, and learning, with my innate desire to support others in order for everyone (students, teachers, and parents) to succeed.”

Ingrid leads various committees and staff development on Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), Project-based Learning (PBL) and Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS) to ensure a high quality of learning is possible for all students. In additional to the traditional roles of a Principal, Ingrid served as a LEA CAASPP Coordinator and Trainer. She in an active Core Advocate and a member of National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) and of National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE).
